CABIN LUGGAGE - HAND  LUGGAGE
Since we are travelling with different flight companies (EASYJET and NORWEGIAN), we have to take into account the luggage conditions of each one (size of suitcases or bags), and bring  the smallest suitcase allowed if you don't want to pay extra money.

Second Meeting
 Although José Estades will email you, we can confirm that the next meeting parents-teachers-students-travel agent will take place  in the assembly hall of the school next  Monday, 11th May at 7  p.m.

PROJECT ON OUR STUDY TRIP TO UK (Westgate 2015)

From Sunday, 21^st June to Sunday, 28^th June

Everyday you will write down expressions or vocabulary learned that day.

Sunday.- Our flight & first impressions about the family. What is our host family like? What is our room & house like?

Monday.- First experiences with school, public transport and the orientation tour around Westgate.

Tuesday.- What are the classes like? Write about the school, the teachers and the entry test. Write about the town of Westgate and the afternoon activities.

Wednesday.- Your visit to Canterbury. Did you like the cathedral? Write about other places visited in Canterbury.

Thursday.-  Write about your routines, meals at home and packed lunch at the school. Write about the weather we are having. Write about the sports afternoon. Which sports did you play? Did you have a nice time? Did you meet new people?

Friday.- Write about our shopping afternoon. Did you find many differences from Spanish shops? What did you buy? How much did you spend?

Saturday.- Our guided visit to London. Which monument did you like most? Where did you want to stay longer? Which place was different from what you had imagined?

Sunday.- What can you tell us about Westgate? Did you like Westgate, London and Canterbury? Our flight & journey back home. Best memories. Any souvenirs bought? Would you go back to Westgate? Would you repeat the experience?

SECOND MEETING

We are preparing the second meeting with parents and children for next week. As soon as we know the date and time of this meeting we'll let you know . (We're arranging it with José Estades)

 DOCUMENTS FOR YOUR TRIP

As we told you last week, it is necessary to prepare some documents before we leave. We explain everything here, but in case you've got any doubt just ask us.

Documentación para un Viaje de Estudios al Extranjero

El pasaporte es la documentación clave para viajar fuera de Europa. En estos territorios no hay DNI que valga. Para ello es necesario presentarlo con una caducidad mínima de seis meses. Se expide en las comisarías. En caso de robo o sustracción en la embajada te lo pueden proporcionar, os dejo un artículo en el que se explica las funciones de las embajadas cuando viajamos al extranjero.

• Permiso de Menores de Salida al Extranjero, en el caso de viajar al extranjero con menores de edad, es necesario adjuntar una autorización que acredite en la frontera que el menor sale de territorio español por su propia voluntad. Esto en principio no es necesario presentarlo si el menor presenta el pasaporte (además de su DNI) pero conviene pedirlo en todos los casos. Esta autorización se puede tramitar en comisarías, en los cuarteles de la Guardia Civil, ayuntamientos etc. Os dejo un link con información y el formulario.

• La Tarjeta Sanitaria Europea: cuando viajamos en España es preciso llevar nuestra tarjeta sanitaria, pues bien cuando realizamos el viaje al extranjero es preciso llevar nuestra tarjeta Sanitaria Europea para recibir las prestaciones médicas en países europeos. Estas se piden en los centros de la seguridad social autorizados.
